Ski Arlberg

The prestigious winter resort and probably the most famous ski area in the country - Ski Arlberg - is located near the resort. It is located between Tyrol and Vorarlberg and since 2017 is the largest interconnected ski area in Austria. The area, known as the "cradle of alpine skiing and winter sports", has won several titles in recent years. Among others, the 2017 title "Best World Ski Area”.

From November to April, the Arlberg becomes not only a magnet for hundreds of thousands of winter sports enthusiasts, but also for more and more people looking for peace and quiet. It offers 305 km of interconnected, perfectly groomed slopes, 200 km of free-ride slopes, 88 ultramodern lifts and cable cars, 40 km of winter hiking trails, 27 km of cross-country trails, ice rinks, toboggan runs and much more.

Planned cable car connection

There is a ski-bus stop right in front of the resort, from where you can easily reach the ski area. The owner of the resort is now discussing the possibility of building a cable car that would lead directly from the resort to the ski area. If all the necessary permits are issued, the owner would like to build a cable car by the time the resort is completed.

Nesslegg

Nesslegg has always been a popular retreat for nature lovers, tourists and travellers. The air is amazingly clean, the nature untouched, and in winter there is more snow than anywhere else in Europe.
