The Dalmatian Coast is still the most popular destination for foreign buyers investing in property in Croatia. The region offers a wide choice of properties on the Croatian mainland as well as on the many islands that are accessible from the mainland by ferry. Some of the islands, such as Ciovo and Vis are connected to the mainland by a bridge, which makes them conveniently accessible by car.

Dalmatia’s most sought after locations include the Zadar and Bibinje areas and areas near the city of Split, such as Trogir, Makarska and the islands of Brac, Hvar, Ciovo and Korcula. Property prices in these popular locations are more-or-less comparable with sea front property naturally being at the upper end of the market. Dubrovnik is one of Croatia’s most popular sea resorts and property prices here are generally very high.

Another option for property buyers interested in Croatia is the Istria Peninsula, which is located along the country’s northern coast. More information about Croatia can be found here.
