AlpbachAlpbachtal is an Austrian municipality located in the heart of the State of Tyrol, not far from the well-known Zillertal Valley. This tranquil ski area offers 52 km of maintained ski runs with 20 ski lifts. The resorts snow ranges from 1,000 – 2,025 meters. The town has a colorful nightlife with a wide selection of après-ski bars, dance clubs and restaurants – many of them featuring a traditional atmosphere. The village is nestled on a sunny plateau at a height of 1,000 meters. It is surrounded by mountain forests and unspoiled natural settings. For advanced skiers, the resort offers the FIS Hornboden–Mittelstation advanced ski run (1 km with a drop of 450 m) and there is deep powder skiing near the Wiedersberger Horn Mountain. For snowboarders (advanced and beginner), the resort offers a newly renovated and expanded Wiedersbergerhorn Funpark with a halfpipe, jumps and slides.
